Well I finally did it, I started a blog! I am SO excited!
First let me take a minute to introduce myself and my blog. My name is Babette and I live in the “true” Northern California. It takes me about 30 minutes to drive to the nearest town and almost 2 hours to get to the nearest Costco! I am in the Redwood forest close to the pacific ocean.
I am so fortunate to live here.

 

 

My hubby and I own 88 acres of forested mountain on a large secluded sub-division. This is where we raised our 5 kids and lots of animals.
We live off-grid and we get our water from a spring that comes right out of the mountainside. It’s a beautiful life!

Some of the things I enjoy are gardening, horseback riding, canning, hiking, mushroom hunting, camping, playing with my grandkids, seeking dead people and softball.. Yes, I am a softball freak!! By the way, seeking dead people was not a typo… I am also a genealogy guru!!
